This promotion was a result of the Sun-Times’ partnership with the CTA and Chicago Public Schools. In the month leading up to the promoted “Free Rides” day, ads appeared inside the paper as well as on paper boxes and various CTA buses and trains throughout the city. We also promoted via social media to raise awareness.
